Do you utilize environmentally friendly construction practices?
Construction company is dedicated to a cleaner environment and employs practices promoted by the U.S. Green Building Council. Construction company retains a LEED consultant to assist in the development of our “Green” program.
Can you source all required materials?
Yes. The vast majority of our jobs include us sourcing all materials, handling all personnel and ensuring the project is completed to the highest standard. This is inclusive in our service. Our experience has shown that customers who attempt to project manage multiple tradesmen and sourcing materials themselves more often than not turns into a false economy with no savings and increased overall costs. You will have a much better experience contracting a company to complete your project from start to finish.
How are payments handled and dealt with?
Payment is absolutely not required upfront. All respectable building companies will not require the full balance up front. A detailed contract will be drawn up which will state set milestones customized to your project/works when interim payments will be required. The final payment will be required only once all works are completed. Our most common payment terms are between 3 and 4 intervals.
How do interior designers charge for their professional design time?
Hiring an interior designer is an investment in saving you time and acquiring the peace of mind that your job is being executed professionally, in a cost-effective manner and to your liking.
Currently, there is not one industry standard for how interior designers bill for their professional time, but there are three common formats - Hourly, Flat Fee and Cost Plus.
As its name implies, hourly billing means you are charged an hourly fee per team member for the time it takes to complete your project. A Flat Fee arrangement means you are billed one flat fee for the design, execution and completion of your job. And, Cost Plus means a flat fee based on the percentage of the cost of your job is billed.

Since we are a small company dedicated to our customers, we can devise a long-term decorating plan that will keep your initial costs low while still accomplishing your goals today. With our planning, we can help you avoid the add-on look of a poorly designed piecemeal project.
Can I really afford to hire an interior designer?
Interior Design Studio makes hiring the design help you need affordable in two ways; Since we're a small and efficient company, we can offer hands-on service at reasonable rates compared to large organizations with high overhead. Secondly, Interior Design Studio does not mark up the cost of contractor labor, furniture or fixtures! Our clients pay only for our design time and work product; tools that you can use to continue your design efforts.
Do you offer discounts for commercial projects?
We are happy to offer commercial clients trade discount based on a qualification process. We can also offer significant discounts for high quantity product orders and have the ability to work with varying procurement briefs. Please contact us to speak with one of our commercial managers.
